B>U March Feature Story Of The Month Showcases Nisha Nandez And The Release Of Her First Music Video
Austin, TX (Top40 Charts/ B>U) Former Army captain turned professional singer releases her new music video. Inspirational website, B>U, follows her journey inspiring others to be a greater self for a greater world.

B>U March's Feature of the Month, Nisha Nandez, released her first music video "Give Me One Reason." The video released in late March shows off the Indie artist side of her music and features lead guitarist Jason Richard.

Inspirational website B>U features Nisha due to her sacrifice for her country using her voice entertaining troops overseas as part of the Army's rock band. Nisha continues her inspirational journey transcending from the Army band to a solo singer pursuing her music career in California.

Nisha Nandez story begins the day she says she will never forget when the 9/11 terrorist attacks shocked the world and sent a calling to serve her country. At the age of 29, she quit her job, sold her house and joined the Army.

"I wanted to do something in my life that would make a difference to those around me but I also wanted it to be in a field I loved," reflects Nisha. "I decided to pursue military service in the Army Band. As I prepared to attend basic combat training, I knew the move I was making was the right one and would touch the lives of all those I performed for."

One of the best ways she hoped to contribute was through her voice entertaining troops overseas during the war. The U.S. Army granted her wishes and deployed her to Iraq in January 2005.

When Nisha wasn't performing her guard and convoy duties, she was performing with the Army band as one of the lead singers. Nisha entertained weary combat troops throughout the war-torn country to help boost morale. Nisha even had the help from country star, Toby Keith, when she and the Army rock band opened up for one of their concerts.

Nisha retired from the Army in 2013 and left Texas for California to be closer to the business. She's been recording songs and just completed her first music video. It is because of her determination and commitment to her music and country why B>U chose her as the March B>U Feature of the month.
